The Great Job Hunt...

Wednesday...

Not much to report today or this week. Not many entry-level opportunities available or posted on the job boards. Maybe it's just bad timing. Not sure. But I have a feeling I'm not alone when I wonder to myself, Are Monster, Indeed, Dice, Zip Recruiter, and LinkedIn a black hole portal where I'm really just wasting my time? I know I have to network, put myself out there and make moves to position myself in that sweet spot in order to make those opportunities possible. But that only goes so far. I can only do so much in that respect. In short, the job hunt is like hunting for a needle in a haystack of needles. Aaaaaahhh!!! It's very discouraging, to say the least. But I keep on keepin' on...

Do you feel the same? What are your thoughts??

The Day After Yesterday

Thursday AM: I called Robert Half and spoke to a recruiter. Then switched me to another one. No answer. Left a detailed message about looking for work.

Friday: No reply...yet.

Will call back Monday. Actually, I'll call them, Adecco, Aerotek, Aquent, Kelly, and Randstad...

Until then: Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock...

Ahoy!! - Yeah, I'm new. So what!! I want a job as a junior, mini Help Desk tech. 
Simple right? Alrighty then!

I intend to post here regularly my journey to get my first job, the challenges with that job and my aspirations in that position, for the future and beyond... So far, no jobbie job. Tech job hubs, no luck. I'm calling Robert Half tomorrow. For now, I tired.
